NAPOLIMONITOR | ANTONIO GRIECO

NMT is a re-creation of the stage event as Carmelo Bene intended it, an operation of dramaturgical rewriting that proceeds by subtraction, by amputation of the usual representative canons of choreographic art. Ooscillating between instinctive vitality of the bodies and Dionysian expression of contemporary electronic music on the dissolution of the fragile boundary between art and life.

A physical score generated through the use of a sensitive sound environment applied to the peroformance. Messages from philosophy, poetry, literature intersect around body, intimacy, touch, in a tension between eros and thanathos, human and divine.
