 MENSCH – ÜBER SCHÖNHEIT [Solo]

The solo – part of the triptych Mensch – über Schönheit – is inspired by exhibited beauty, as conceived by Jean Baudrillard in his idea of the contemporary body as machine–body: objectified, plastified, unreachable, untouchable. A public movemen: logical, rational, modular, progressive, symmetrical, material.

A constantly changing space and sound environment on the theme of fragility. A non-affirmative dance, without defined boundaries to be permeable to perception and power of the space. Iinterested in vulnerability, the subtle tension arising from insecurity, the poetry of a fragile movement. Six blindfolded non–dancers on stage in a rigorous conceptual performance.
